Due to the number of events taking place across Westminster in the week commencing Monday 27 May, we will not be accepting applications for any event or filming activities taking place between 27 May and 3 June inclusive.
We will also not be processing any application submitted between 27 May and 3 June. Applications will reopen from 4 June.

Apply to film or hold an event in Westminster
We will review your application based on the information you have provided, which includes checking for parallel event and filming activity, and ensuring you meet our published timelines.
Your application must include:
- a description of the scene or scenes to be filmed
- the total numbers of cast and crew
- a list of any proposed equipment, including but not limited to lighting, generators, green screens, any lifting equipment, for example cranes, cherry pickers and so on, or structures
- parking requirements
- traffic management requirements, such as traffic holds or a road closure
While site plans are very helpful to explain your activity, the above details should be included in the written application and not solely included on a site plan.
If once you’ve applied, you notify us of additional information that significantly changes your activity, or make additional operational requests we may not be able to facilitate this if these fall outside of our published timelines. We will continue to accommodate your filming to the best of our ability, however it is your responsibility to ensure information is shared and that the required submissions are sent to us in a timely manner or we may decline your request.
